Why I Write

In my 60 plus years I have experienced many difficulties, as everyone does.  I want to share with you what has helped me.  I am deeply grateful that God brought me through so many troubles.  That is why my tagline includes “grateful overcomer.”

The second verse to a beloved old hymn  expresses my feelings.

“I love to tell the story, more wonderful it seems

 than all the golden fancies, of all our golden dreams.

I love to tell the story, it did so much for me

and that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.”

(Lyrics by William G. Fischer, The Broadman Hymnal, p. 371))

Do you, personally, know the story the hymn is singing of, the story of Jesus? If you do not, dear one, please – please – click here and find out how to know him. http://peacewithgod.net/

It is so simple! Knowing – and believing – the story of Jesus has been the joy of my life for 34 years, and I so hope you will share in that joy!  However, you do NOT have to be a Christ-follower to benefit from the stories on this website.  These stories are universal.

The first verse to that hymn is forever the song in my heart:

“I love to tell the story of unseen things above,

of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story, because I know ‘tis true;

It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.”
